Use in morning.

Our build-up of collagen declines as we age and as a consequence, may show up in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and loss of skin firmness. Applied topically - and with consistent use, Vitamin C delivers a plumper, firmer and overall radiant complexion.

Vitamin C plays an essential part in supporting the production of collagen - a protein that makes up the structure of our cells and tissues. Our build-up of collagen declines as we age and may show up in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Applied topically, the antioxidant has been shown to support the body’s natural production of collagen and skin elasticity, restoring a resilient complexion and reducing the signs of premature ageing of the skin.

Pure vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is an essential factor for collagen synthesis. It has been reported that vitamin C directly stimulates fibroblasts to increase collagen production and also cause an increase in fibroblast proliferation potentially resulting in greater collagen production.

Not all forms of vitamin C are the same. Pure vitamin C is L-Ascorbic Acid. There are also synthetic forms of vitamin C such as Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate. Pure Vitamin C is easily recognised and is readily incorporated into the skin versus some synthetic forms of Vitamin C. The derivatives of Vitamin C can also benefit the skin; however, they must be able to penetrate into the skin and then be converted to pure Vitamin C for the skin to recognise and utilise it.
